Back to School!
It was a hot but fulfilling day in Belize as students returned to school after on again/off again school over the past few years. The students were excited to be back and ready to learn. They were all dressed in their uniforms and eager to enter their classrooms. The school backpacks they received were filled with supplies, and many of them also received coupons to gather needed clothing and shoes for the new school year. Repair of Bus Shed in Burrell Boom!
Dream514 is committed to improving the lives of the community of Burrell Boom. Yesterday morning our team heard from Margarita Jones, a our local coordinator in Burrell Boom. She told us that one of the local bus sheds we had previously painted was in dire need of repair. The roof was leaking, the paint was peeling, and the seats were falling apart. Dream514 was able to provide the resources needed to fix up the bus shed and Margarita quickly assembled a team to get the work
